In our PAI Time we have been learning about reusing, recycling and reducing.
We wanted to find out how much Gladwrap was being used every day as Gladwrap is something that never breaks down in the dump and we think that we need to reduce how much we use.
So we planned what we wanted to find out and in pairs we went to all the classes at school to find out what kinds of food people use Gladwrap for.
Then we collected it all up and then measured it. We had to work in Partnership with a buddy to do this and we are all much better at this now.
We discovered that on Monday 3 August there was 116 metres of Gladwrap brought to school. That is a lot. Next we will be thinking of ways that we can reduce this.
Watch this space for more installments about our PAI learning.
