Our PAI Rubbish Learning journey

What a journey we have been on. Since we did our first survey to find out how much gladwrap was being used at school, we have been very busy.
We have written letters to our parents and used our persuasive writing skills to get some money from them. We have been on the bus to the local mall and have bought plastic containers to use in our own lunchboxes.
We have written a speech, designed posters and organised and run a Gladwrap Free Friday for the whole school. We have completed another survey to find out if we were able to make a difference. And we really did. There was only 19 metres of gladwrap at school on that Friday. We have also presented our learning at a Learning Celebration.
We feel really proud of what we have learnt and achieved and we hope that other people continue to think about how they can help to reduce the rubbish in the world.
